Re-Sojourn 2021 Charter Boat

Scuba Sojourns has chartered the dive boat for a special trip along the Ribbon Reefs. Taking a maximum of only 36 divers/snorkellers on this large liveaboard dive boat, it is sure to be THE trip of 2021 to join.

​

​The corals, marine life and overall experience is going to be EPIC!

​

​​Our spacious home for 8 nights is the comfortable dive boat ‘OceanQuest’. We have twin share, double and sole occupancy cabins available. All cabins are with beds, no climbing up bunks and are complete with ensuite bathrooms.

​

When not diving the amazing variety dive sites along the Ribbon Reefs you can relax in the lounge, on the sundeck, undercover top deck or your ocean-view cabin.

 

We begin our trip on Saturday 25th September in Cairns, and travel 240km along the rarely visited ‘Ribbons’ you will encounter clouds of colourful tropical fish, an incredible variety of vibrant healthy corals, giant clams, anemones, huge schools of cruising pelagic fish and plenty of macro and micro opportunities too.

 

This is a special charter trip with a lot of variety on offer and a few surprises up our sleeves too!

This trip has our own Trip Leader on board the boat and in Cairns, taking care of all logistics for you.

Itinerary

Sat 25th Sept

  • Arrive into Cairns airport

  • Transfer to dive shop for check in

  • Board liveaboard boat at wharf

Sun 26th Sept to Fri 1st Oct

  • Wake up on the Ribbon Reefs

  • 6 full days of diving available

  • Start our routine of 'Dive, Eat, Sleep, Repeat' 

  • 4 dives per day, including nights

  • Various dive sites visited each day

  • Bommies, canyons, walls and more

  • Few surprises in store too!

Sat 2nd Oct

  • Our 7th day on the reef

  • morning dives

  • afternoon snorkel session

  • final night celebrations on board

Sun 3rd Oct

  • Breakfast on board before disembarking

  • Transfer to Cairns CBD 8.30am

  • Free time in Cairns

  • Great memories and fond farewells till next Sojourn!
