 4 nights on the Great Barrier Reef

and 2 nights in Cairns!

Join our small group during the migration of the Dwarf Minke Whales. Only discovered in the 1980s, they are the only whale known to initiate human interactions.

​

They are incredibly curious and in water encounters can last for hours. When not swimming alongside these amazing creatures you will be diving the

beautiful outer reefs.

​

These trips include world famous dive sites such as Steve's Bommie, Lighthouse Bommie & Challenger Bay.

​

Up to 15 dives, including 4 night dives with the option to upgrade to the amazing fluoro diving experience & fantastic shark action at night is an added bonus!

​

These group trips include: all meals onboard, ensuite cabins, Dwarf Minke Whale presentations, shuttles, t-shirt, taxes, dinner last night in Cairns and accommodation before & after the boat.

These trips have a Trip Coordinator organising all logistics of for you!

Itinerary

Day 1

  • Arrive into Cairns anytime

  • Transfer to Cairns resort

  • Welcome pre-dinner drink - included

  • Group dinner - optional

Day 2

  • Start 'dive, eat, sleep repeat' routine

  • Transfer from resort to reef - early morning

  • Check out dives on outer reef including a night dive

  • Overnight motoring to the Ribbon Reefs

Days 3, 4 & 5

  • Diving along the amazing Ribbon Reefs

  • Varying dive sites to explore

  • Stopping for Minke interaction where possible

  • Each day up to 4 dives including 1 night dive

  • What an amazing long weekend of diving!

Day 6​

  • Arrive Cairns early morning on the liveaboard

  • Breakfast on board before disembarking

  • Free day to relax or explore on a tour

  • Accommodation in Cairns

  • Final night farewell dinner - included

Day 7

  • Transfer to Cairns airport

  • Great memories and fond farewells till next time!
