DISCOUNTED TRIP

7 nights on the

Great Barrier Reef

 Join us during the migration of the Dwarf Minke Whales.

​

Only discovered in the 1980s, they are the only whale known to initiate human interactions.

​

They are incredibly curious and in water encounters can last for hours. When we are not swimming alongside these amazing creatures we dive and snorkel the beautiful Ribbon reefs.

​

This includes world famous dive sites such as Steve's Bommie, Lighthouse Bommie and Cracka Jack.

Our extended trip has been organised especially for our group and is not to be missed!

​

We have chartered the whole boat for a spectacular week of snorkeling/diving on the famous Ribbon Reefs.

​

Up to 26 dives, including 7 night dives with the option to upgrade to the amazing fluoro diving experience too. The included 'Sharks in the Dark' are a thrilling bonus!

​

Joining this group trip includes: all meals onboard, ensuite cabins, Dwarf Minke Whale presentations, Cairns transfers, trip top, reef taxes and Cairns accommodation before and after the boat.

This trip has our own Trip Leader onboard the boat and in Cairns, taking care of all logistics of for you!

Itinerary

Mon 24th June

  • Arrive into Cairns airport during day

  • Transfer to Cairns resort

  • Meet & Greet sunset drink

  • Overnight accommodation in Cairns resort

Tue 25th June

  • Off to the Great Barrier Reef!

  • Charter boat for 1 week - OceanQuest

  • Check out diving/snorkelling and a night dive

Wed 26th June to Mon 1st July

  • Wake up on the Ribbon Reefs - start 'dive, eat, sleep repeat' routine

  • Varying dive sites to explore

  • Stopping for Minke interaction where possible

  • Each day up to 4 dives including 1 night dive

  • What an amazing week of diving!

  • Snorkeling sessions throughout days

Tue 2nd July​

  • Breakfast on board before disembarking

  • Spend day relaxing or exploring Cairns

  • Accommodation in Cairns

Wed 3rd July

  • Great memories and fond farewells till next time!
