 8 nights on OceanQuest diving the Ribbon & Outer Reefs.

Join us on adventure dives on the stunning Ribbon Reefs up to the Cod Hole area on the northern Great Barrier Reef.

We then continue diving the outer reefs for our 2nd part of this amazing trip.

This is a large comfortable liveaboard dive boat, it is THE TRIP OF THE YEAR!

​The colourful corals, marine life and overall experience

is going to be truly memorable!

​​Our spacious home for 8 nights is the comfortable dive boat ‘OceanQuest’. All cabins are with beds, no climbing up bunks and are complete with ensuite bathrooms.

​

When not diving the amazing variety of dive sites you can relax in the lounge, on the sundeck, undercover top deck or your ocean-view cabin.

​

You will encounter clouds of colourful tropical fish, an incredible variety of vibrant healthy corals, giant clams, anemones, huge schools of cruising pelagic fish and plenty of macro and micro opportunities too.

 

This trip is organised by Scuba Sojourns, taking care of all logistics for you.

Itinerary

Thu 11th November

  • Arrive into Cairns airport

  • Transfer to overnight accommodation

  • Meet up for Happy Hour & dinner (optional)

Fri 12th

  • Off to the Great Barrier Reef with 2 check out dives

  • Start our routine of 'Dive, Eat, Sleep, Repeat' 

Sat 13th, Sun 14th, Mon 15th

  • 4 dives per day, including nights

  • Various dive sites visited each day

  • Bommies, canyons, walls and more

  • Few surprises in store too!

Tue 16th

  • Stop off in Cairns, stretch legs, a local tour?

  • Overnight accommodation in Cairns

  • Part A and Part B change over

Wed 17th, Thu 18th, Fri 19th, Sat 20th

  • Back to our cabins on dive boat

  • Diving outer reefs for 5 days & 4 nights

  • Final night celebrations on board

Sun 21st

  • Morning diving

  • Afternoon arrive in Cairns

  • Overnight accommodation

  • Group dinner (optional)

Mon 22nd

  • Free time in Cairns

  • Transfers to Cairns airport
